Terms and Conditions

1. Legalities

 

a. All Deliveries MUST be received by a person who ages at least 18 years old and above.

b. We reserve the rights to request recipient to present his/her valid photo ID for age verification.

c. We reserve the rights to refuse buyer's purchases if he/she appears intoxicated

d. We reserve the rights to reject the recipient if he/she is verbally or physically abusive to any of our teammates.

 

 

2. Prices

 

a. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

b. All prices are indicated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and inclusive of prevailing GST.

c. Alcohol products are subject to excise duty.  Excise rates vary and are applicable to SGD per litre for alcoholic products.

    All prices had included the alcohol duties on whichever relevant products in this online store.

d. Payment by MASTER or VISA is preferable. Cash payment upon delivery is acceptable.  Payment by cheque is discouraged.

e. Promotion items are strictly NOT valid with any other discounts.

 

3. Vouchers

a. All vouchers issued by New Castle Trading are subjected to a set of terms and conditions, which we reserve the right to change without prior notice
    in the best interests of the company.
b. All vouchers are limited to one voucher per transaction only, and are not valid for usage with other types of vouchers, discounts, promotions or offers
    unless otherwise stated.
c. Vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable or non-redeemable for cash.
d. Extension will not be given to expired vouchers.
e. New Castle Trading reserves the right to amend validity of date or reject vouchers in order to protect the interests of the company
    or under circumstances of abuse.


4. Delivery

 

a. Delivery charges:

 

i)       Above S$150.00             : Complimentary

 

ii)      Below S$150.00              : S$15.00

 

iii)     Sentosa and CBD area   : Extra fee of $8 will be incurred, our customer service team will confirm the delivery destination and charges through phone call.

 

b. Delivery schedule:

 

i)       Monday to Saturday, 11:00am to 7:00pm

 

ii)      NO delivery service on Sunday and Public Holidays.

iii)  Delivery will take place after 1- 2 working days after receiving the order.
         For example, we received the order(s) on Monday before 2:00pm, we will send to you the earliest on Tuesday.
         From 2:00pm onwards, order(s) will be delivered the earliest on Wednesday.

iv)  For next day delivery service, the cut-off time will be until 2:00pm daily. After 2:00pm, the delivery will be arranged on the day after tomorrow.

 

c. We DO NOT deliver to Jurong Island and other restricted areas.

d. In a case of unattended delivery, a charge of not more than $20 will be incurred in compensation for any administrative costs and delivery mileage.

e. During inclement weather, traffic congestion, extremely high call volume or other unforeseen situation, delivery may take longer than expected or may temporarily be unavailable. If any of such circumstance arises, our friendly staff will contact you personally in order to update you with the relevant details.

 

 

5. Orders

 

a. The amendment of order is not allowed once the order has been placed and confirmed.

b. If a buyer wishes to change or cancel his/her order when the order has been placed and payment has been made, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible, a 5% charge of the total amount will be incurred in compensation for administrative costs, bank charges and any other costs.

c. Advanced orders can be made via our online shop: www.newcastle.com.sg and selecting your preferred date and time for delivery, or by calling our hotline: (65) 6552 8435 during our operating hour.

 

 

6. Products

 

a. All of our product pictures which have shown on this website are for reference purpose only, actual product might vary due to product enhancement.

b. Vintages are subject to change without prior notice, information on the latest vintages can be obtained through our company's representatives.

c. All allocated stock, upon the change of wine vintages, may offer a different price. Please refer to our sales representatives.

d. Limited stock products are on allocation basis. Kindly check stock availability with our customer service representatives.

 

 

7. Returns

 

a. All products are carefully checked before leaving our warehouse. Buyers are requested to examine goods delivered and report any defects or damaged before confirmation of receipts.

b. If any of the products delivered is deemed faulty or discrepancies in quantity, buyers have to mention the problem(s) to the delivery personnel immediately. No refund or exchange of product(s) is allowed unless the condition is observed and confirmed.

c. New Castle Trading (2005) will not accept returned good(s) for the following conditions:

 

i)      Damaged bottle caused by buyer

 

ii)     Label or gift box damaged caused by buyer

 

 

8. Responsibility

 

We assume no responsibility and shall not be liable for any damage or injury arising out of access to this website, or any failure of performance, such as error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, computer virus, communication line disable, functional problems on hardware and software, theft, destruction or alteration of this site, whether for breach of contract, tortious behaviour, negligence or, under any other cause of action resulting directly or indirectly from any access or use of this website, or any uploading, downloading or publication of data, text, images or other material or information to or from the site.

10. Eligibility for New Castle Trading Loyalty Programme

a. All New Castle Trading’s E-Commerce customers are eligible for New Castle Trading Loyalty Program. However, the Programme will only be available if:-

(i)     Customers registered as our member before making any purchases

(ii)    Customers have agreed to receive exclusive offers and news from New Castle Trading via email, SMS and mail upon registering as our member

(iii)   Customers have agreed to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy upon registering as a member with us

*You will not be eligible for New Castle Trading Loyalty Programme if you cease to subscribe to any of our services/ and or terminate all existing New Castle Trading accounts registered under your name, including without limitation, as a result of a transfer of service subscription:

If you fail to make payment for outstanding bills invoiced by our related corporations;

If you breach any of these New Castle Terms or any of our Participating Merchant’s terms and conditions; and

Any other circumstances as determined by us in its sole discretion

 
11. How do I earn Rewards Points?
You earn 1 rewards point for every $1 online purchase when you place the order through your account at www.newcastle.com.sg This excludes transaction made via walk-in purchase without placing the order via your account at www.newcastle.com.sg, which do not earn reward point. Rewards points are calculated on per online transaction basis and rounded down to the nearest whole number. 
 
12. What is the validity of my Rewards Points?
Your rewards points will expire annually, based on the date of your last online payment transaction.(e.g. Your last online purchase was in April 2016, your points will expire on April 2017 if there isn’t any purchase made before that.) Your rewards points can be carried forward so long there is ongoing transaction within the 12 months period. 
 
13. How do I check and redeem my Rewards Points?
Your existing rewards points are reflected in your New Castle account on your homepage. You may redeem your rewards points upon any purchase, which you will have to select the checkout section where you will find a list of items and services that are available for your redemption. The details of items and services available for redemption can be found at this link. Please take note that all redemption items are based on while stocks last basis*.
 
*New Castle Trading reserve the right to alter, terminate or suspend (in whole or in part) the Rewards Points at any time without prior notice and without any liability whatsoever to you.
 
14. How long will it take for my redemption to be processed?
You will receive your voucher(s)/ item(s)/ service(s) within 4 working days or the date of delivery, whichever is later.
 
15. Can I exchange or extend the expiry date of the redemption items?
We regret to inform that cancellation of redemption and request for voucher exchanges will not be accepted. Expiry dates are clearly stated on each voucher, and no extensions will be granted.
